BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 1 Army West Point hosts No. 4 Holy Cross, and No. 2 Bucknell welcomes No. 3 Navy when the semifinal round of the 2026 Patriot League Baseball Championship begins this weekend.
 
The regular-season co-champion Black Knights (28-18, 17-9 PL) host the fourth-seeded Crusaders (21-27, 13-13 PL), the reigning Patriot League Champions, in a rematch of the 2025 Patriot League Baseball Championship Series. Game 1 of the best-of-three-game series is scheduled for Saturday, May 9. Live coverage on ESPN+ from Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field in West Point, N.Y. has been pushed back to 5 p.m. due to earlier rain in the forecast. 
 
The second-seeded Bison (24-22, 17-9 PL) earned a share of the Patriot League regular-season title after missing the four-team field last season and will face No. 3 Navy (30-17, 16-10 PL) in the semifinal round. Game 1 has been moved to Sunday, May 10, due to rain in the forecast in Lewisburg, Pa. on Saturday. Live coverage of each game during the Bison-Midshipmen series begins at 1 p.m. from Depew Field at Marren Park on ESPN+.
 
The semifinal-round winners advance to the best-of-three Patriot League Baseball Championship Series at the home site of the highest-remaining seed. The Patriot League Championship Series winner will receive the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Regionals. All games during the Patriot League Baseball Championship will be available on ESPN+.

ARMY VS. HOLY CROSS CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY: Army West Point and Holy Cross have played 17 games in seven postseason series. The Crusaders' won the most recent postseason meeting, capturing the 2025 Patriot League Championship in a two-game sweep over the Black Knights at Fitton Field. Holy Cross also swept Army West Point in the 2017 semifinals before going on to win the 2017 League crown, marking the last team to win it before Army West Point reeled off six straight Patriot League titles between 2018 and 2024. The Black Knights lead the postseason series’, going 10-7 and winning five of the seven best-of-three-game series’. Army West Point previously captured League crowns against the Crusaders in 2012 and 2013.

CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY: The Midshipmen and Bison have played 28 games in the postseason dating back to 1996, with Bucknell going 18-10 in those matchups. The two teams met five times in the semifinal round, with the last meeting in 2023, where the Bison took two games to advance to the championship series. The Mids defeated Bucknell in three games in the 2016 semifinals on their way to the program’s last League title.
