BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University and Navy split the Patriot League M-F Athletic Cross Country weekly awards.
Boston University’s Dan Hruska earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors after logging a 6K time of 18:20.2 at the Providence Friar Invite. The time earned Lyons the individual win in the event. Navy sophomore Jane Phillips was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after posting a 5K time of 18:06.3. She was the individual medalist at the LVC Dutchman XC Invitational and helped the Mids to a team victory at the event.
Boston University freshman Will Tempest was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week after a strong showing in his collegiate debut. His 6K time of 18:57.5 was the fourth-best for the Terriers on the weekend. Navy’s Lorraine Goldenberg earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors after her mark of 18:36.0 in the 5K. She was the top first-year finisher in the event, finishing fifth overall.
Navy sophomore Trevor Hayes garnered an honorable mention nod after earning the individual medal at the LVC Dutchman XC Invitational.

*Phillips won the LVC Dutchman XC Invitational with a time of 18:06.3 in the 5K.
*She defeated the runner-up finisher by nearly 10 seconds.
*Navy logged the overall team victory in the event.

*Goldenberg clocked a time of 18:36.0 at the LVC Dutchman XC Invitational in the 5K.
*Her time earned her a fifth-place finish and helped the Mids win the team title at the event.

*Hayes won the LVC Dutchman XC Invitational with a 25:13.6 mark in the 8K.

2025 Patriot League Cross Country Championships are slated for Friday, Oct. 31 in Bethlehem, Pa. on the campus of Lehigh University.
