Patriot League Announces M-F Athletic Cross Country Weekly Awards (9.16.25)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bucknell garnered three Patriot League M-F Athletic Cross Country Weekly Awards, announced Tuesday by the League office, while Navy earned the final award.   
 
Bucknell’s Henry Didden earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors after logging an 8K time of 24:40.8. He finished as the runner-up at the Jasper Invitational and led the Bison to a team victory. Bucknell sophomore Shaelan McNally was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after posting a 6K time of 20:08.8. She was the individual medalist at the Jasper Invitational. It is her second M-F Athletic Women’s Runner of the Week award this season.
 
Bucknell freshman Cooper Hollinger was named Patriot League M-F Athletic Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week after an 8K time of 25:30.9 at the Jasper Invitational. He was the highest-finishing freshman in the event. Navy’s Juliet Frum earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors after winning her collegiate debut race at the Cantello Invitational. Her 6K time of 22:28.8 bested the runner-up finisher by nearly 20 seconds. The Colorado native’s individual victory also helped pace the Midshipmen to the team title in the event.
 
American’s Shealyn Brochu, Lehigh’s Adam Barbato and Kaitlyn Highduch and Navy’s Trevor Hayes earned honorable mention nods for their efforts this past weekend.
   
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK 
Henry Didden, Bucknell, Sr., Woodland Hills, Calif./Viewpoint  
*Didden finished as the runner-up at the Jasper Invitational with a time of 24:40.8.
*His performance led the Bison to the team victory.
  
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK 
Shaelan McNally, Bucknell, So., Hadden Heights, N.J./Paul VI Catholic
*McNally posted a 6K time of 20:08.8 to earn the individual victory in the event.
*She defeated the runner-up finisher by over 15 seconds.
*This is McNally’s second individual victory on the season.

PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Cooper Hollinger, Bucknell, Fr., Lititz, Pa./Warwick
*Hollinger logged an 8K time of 25:30.9 at the Jasper Invitational.
*The freshman was the highest-finishing rookie in the event.
  
PATRIOT LEAGUE M-F ATHLETIC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Juliet Frum, Navy, Fr., Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista
*Frum won her first collegiate race in her debut at the Cantello Invitational at the USNA Golf Course.
*She clocked a time of 22:28.8 in the 6K, finishing nearly 20 seconds better than the runner-up finisher.
*Frum’s individual title helped Navy to a team victory in the event.  
  
HONORABLE MENTION 
Adam Barbato, Lehigh, Sr., Victor, N.Y./Victor Central
*Barbato was the individual medalist at the Lehigh-Lafayette dual meet with an 8K time of 25:08.
*It was the first collegiate victory for Barbato and established a new personal best time.   
 
Trevor Hayes, Navy, So., East Moriches, N.Y./Westhampton Beach
*Hayes finished second at the Cantello Invitational with a 4.9-mile time of 25:01.1.
*His finish helped the Mids to a runner-up finish as a team.  
 
Shealyn Brochu, American, Fr., Bath, Maine/Morse
*Brochu logged a time of 21:23.2 in her 6K debut.
*It was the third-fastest time ever by an AU woman at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational.
 
Kaitlyn Highduch, Lehigh, So., Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin
*Highduch won the Lehigh-Lafayette dual with a time of 21:32.4 in the 6K.
*It was the first collegiate victory for Highduch and established a new personal best time.

CHAMPIONSHIPS  
The 2025 Patriot League Cross Country Championships are slated for Friday, Oct. 31, in Bethlehem, Pa. on the campus of Lehigh University.
