Eddy, who enters her seventh year at the Patriot League, handles the daily management of the Patriot League’s official website — PatriotLeague.org — in addition to coordinating content for the League’s social media platforms. She was promoted to Director for Communications in April of 2021.
She serves as the League’s primary contact for men's lacrosse, women's basketball, women's and men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men's and women's swimming and diving, softball and men’s and women’s tennis.
She coordinates the strategies and rollout of content for the League’s social platforms, which included the League’s social media efforts for the NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Campaign in October 2020.
Eddy also heads the design process of social media graphics for various awards, schedules and League news that are distributed weekly.
In her first year at the Patriot League, Eddy nearly doubled the League’s social media presence on Twitter and Instagram. Eddy also helped condense social channels to streamline the promotion of student-athletes on the various platforms.
Prior to joining the Patriot League, Eddy served as the primary contact at the Big South for cross country, volleyball, indoor and outdoor track and field, Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) swimming and diving, tennis and softball. She also managed the conference’s Snapchat and Instagram accounts during the Big South Men’s and Women’s Basketball Conference Tournaments.
Eddy also has worked as an Athletic Communications Assistant at Newberry College, where she was the primary contact for men’s and women’s soccer, the spirit teams, women’s basketball and baseball. Eddy began her post-graduate career at Greensboro College, as a sports information intern during the winter and spring semesters. At Greensboro College, she was the contact for the school’s baseball program.
A Stewartsville, N.J., native, Eddy graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with a B.A. in mass communications with a concentration in journalism. At Bloomsburg she spent nearly two years working in the sports information department under the direction of Tom McGuire, the University’s current Director of Media Relations and Content Strategy.
